Composto da 36 carte con semi salisburghesi, tedeschi (Cuori, Palle, Ghiande, Foglie) a figura intera. La maggior parte delle carte è arricchito con un disegno rappresentante una scena di vita quotidiana. La corrispondenza tra i semi tedeschi e quelli francesi è la seguente:

cuori – cuori

quadri – palle

ghiande – fiori

foglie - picche

Con le carte salisburghesi è possibile giocare a Watten, Jass (o Belote o Klaverjassen), Skat, Bazzica, Ecartè, e in generale tutti i giochi che prevedono 32 carte.

Le carte salzburger (letteralmente “salisburghesi” o carte austriache) rappresentano l’unico mazzo regionale usato in Italia a semi tedeschi. Vengono utilizzate soprattutto in Austria, in Baviera e in Liechtenstein ma sono diffuse anche in Alto Adige, nelle regioni del Tirolo e della Ladinia, dove vengono utilizzate per alcuni giochi tipici delle valli alpine a cavallo tra Italia, Austria e Germania.

Stato di conservazione: usate come nuove, carte mai giocate. Scritta parola “dama” sulle 4 dame stampata così come era sulle carte antiche originali, evidenti segni del tempo, come da foto.

Composed of 36 cards with Salzburg suits, German (Hearts, Balls, Acorns, Leaves) in full figure. Most of the cards are enriched with a drawing representing a scene of everyday life. The correspondence between the German and French suits is as follows:

hearts – hearts

diamonds – balls

acorns – clubs

leaves - spades

With Salzburg cards it is possible to play Watten, Jass (or Belote or Klaverjassen), Skat, Bazzica, Ecartè, and in general all games that require 32 cards.

Salzburg cards (literally “Salzburger” or Austrian cards) represent the only regional deck used in Italy with German suits. They are mainly used in Austria, Bavaria and Liechtenstein but are also widespread in Alto Adige, in the regions of Tyrol and Ladinia, where they are used for some typical games of the Alpine valleys between Italy, Austria and Germany.

Conservation status: used as new, cards never played. Written word "checkers" on the 4 checkers printed as it was on the original old cards, evident signs of aging, as shown in the photo.
